About Our Owner/Designer

OUR OWNER/DESIGNER

Our owner and head designer is a

multi-talented person in his own right.

At the age of 15, he started as an apprentice

in a florist in his home town in N.J., where

he started making bows.

His interest in the floral industry, and his

desire to succeed was the seed (no pun intended)

that sprouted into his desire to go on and

get his degree in Floral Designing from the prestigious

National Landscape Institute.

In 1958, he was honored to be the florist of choice to

make all of the floral bouquets and

church decorations for the reigning Miss New Jersey in

the Miss America Pageant.

He also provided the music for the church ceremony.

Mr. Frederick has owned his own shops in New Jersey, Florida

and here in Georgia. He moved to Georgia in 1984, and

now continues his artistry here in Jefferson.

Our designer is also a seasoned musician.

He has served as an Ordained Minister of Music for

41 years, and has completed his 67th year

as a church organist.

He still plays twice a week in a church here in

Jefferson, and often substitutes in

 churches in North Georgia.
